Northwestern Comes to You

In both May and June, representatives from the Office of Undergraduate Admission will be conducting information sessions at hotels and high schools across the country and around the world. These sessions will give an overview of Northwestern's academic programs, student life, and the admissions process, with an opportunity to interact with both Admission officers and Northwestern alumni. NU Graduates Ranked Highly By Top Companies Internationally

A survey of CEOs and chairmen from companies worldwide done by a European market research company and published in the International Herald Tribune showed that Northwestern ranked sixth among universities where those companies recruited.

Class of 2011 Graduate Wins Rhodes Scholarship

Sarah Smierciak, who graduated in 2011 with a double major in history and Middle East languages and civilizations, has earned the Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigious international fellowships in the world. Currently in Cairo, Egypt, she plans to pursue a Master of Philosophy in development studies at the University of Oxford.

Research Funding Tops Half Billion Dollars

For the second year in a row, more than a half billion dollars in research grant funding has been awarded to the University. Northwestern continues to provide resources to undergraduate students interested in research in an extensive range of academic disciplines.
